R. Taylor Custom Acoustic Guitars

Guitar Rez is proud to announce the newest addition to our fine
selection of acoustic guitars, the R.Taylor Custom Guitars.
R. Taylor (a.k.a. "Bob" Taylor, founder of Taylor Guitars)
has been making nice guitars for a long time now. The R.Taylor
brand is Bob's newest venture into an even higher quality of
guitar, with less automated production techniques and more
individual attention paid to each piece. The R.Taylor guitars are
made in a separate facility with the best woods craftmanship that
the Taylor Guitar Company has to offer.
In order to build large quantities of guitars, a company necessarily
has to cut down on the number of variations available on the guitar.
This helps speed production, while keeping costs down and quality high.
The new R.Tayor guitars are built in small numbers, with many
options not available on other guitars. If you are considering purchasing a
guitar in the class of a Collings, a Martin Golden Era, or other
more expensive guitars, you should also play the R.Taylors!
At this time, R.Taylor makes only one body style, the Style 1.
The slighly oversized "triple-ought" size was chosen for it's
versatility..excellent both for flatpicking and fingerpicking styles.
However, this guitar can be built from a wide selection
of some of the finest tonewoods anywhere. You can choose from
four nut widths, two scale lengths, two bracing patterns, two
top geometeries, three neck profiles, and satin or high gloss neck
finishes. All at no extra charge! Whew! Extra charge items
include a wide range of exotic woods, and abalone purflings.
Custom Inlays are also available, as well as a selection
of pickup/preamp systems.
