This new unsold (and unplayed) Taylor PS-12 is constructed of the
most beautiful tone woods in the world. The top is very tight-grained
Englemann spruce. The back and sides are exquisitely figured Brazilian
Rosewood. The neck is carved from a single piece of Tropical
American Mahogany. This guitar does not feature the finger-jointed
headstock or separate heel-block neck pieces found on the current
models. The fretboard is fine-grained, medium darkness ebony with
lighter colored ebony binding. Other construction features on this
guitar that are not found on the current model are the Brazilian
rosewood headstock overlay and the rosewood top and back binding
with red pinstripes.
 
The PS-12 has a wonderful clarity and richness not found in other
small-bodied Taylors. The easy-to-hold Grand Concert body size and
the legendary Taylor playability assure you a lifetime of musical
pleasure!
 
If the tone and comfort were not enough to set this guitar apart from
all the others, the artistry in the inlays and details on the Presentation
series instruments are among the world's finest. The green-heart
abalone top border, rosette, and "Byzantine" fretboard pattern are
