Ribbecke Halfling Guitars incorporate groundbreaking designs, the finest woods, and expert hand made-in-USA manufacturing supervised by Tom Ribbecke, into superior instruments that have no compromises in playability, quality, craftsmanship or tone. The Halfling bass and guitar designs were completed in 2003 as a result of the joint visions of Tom Ribbecke, bassist and composer Bobby Vega, and guitarist entrepreneur Paul Szmanda. The Halfling's patent pending concept is derived from Tom's initial proprietary guitar work melding flattop and archtop concepts in one instrument. The tone of the guitar has the note separation and articulation of a jazz archtop guitar with the engaging bass response of a fine flattop. The first Halfling to arrrive here at Guitar Rez met with resounding approval from our regular customers, and they will be a fine addition to our superior selection of guitars.
