SHOPPING WITH US - IT'S EASY!
To place an order, just call 512-478-0095 Monday through
Thursday from 11 AM to 6:30 PM or Friday and Saturday 11 AM to 6
PM Central Time. Theres only four of us, Jim, Dave, Chuck and Michael. Anyone can take an order!
We accept payment in cash, money order/cashiers checks, and major
credit cards: Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express.
EFFECTIVE 5/23/2005 Guitar Rez will NO LONGER accept
American Express cards on Mail Order Sales!!
If you shop in person, we will accept personal checks drawn on
local banks with a Texas Drivers License or Military ID to show
your identity.
CUSTOMER SATISFACTION POLICY
We guarantee our products to be as advertised . We want our
customers to be satisfied with their purchases, and we look
forward to having you all as repeat customers. When your
purchase arrives, you have a 48 hour approval period to inspect
and use the guitar or amp. If you are not
satisfied you must contact us within this time period.
If we dont hear from you we will assume you are satisfied and the
sale is complete .
If you decide to return the item during the 48 hour period,
we will cheerfully refund the purchase price once
we have inspected the returned item. The customer is
responsible for all freight charges incurred in the course of
the sale unless other
arrangements have been made with us. We cannot refund freight charges.
If you are not satisfied with your purchase, please return the item to us
as quickly as we sent it to you.

Guitar Rez will now charge a 20% restocking fee for returned
effects pedals. The only exceptions are for products that are defective.
Our experience is now that the effects pedal is the
product most often returned to us. (Our amp returns went to
zero without hurting sales once we implemented the restocking
fee for amplifiers). The most common reason is "it didn't sound
the way I thought it would". The customer had never played the brand, or model he'd ordered. We do not want to ship a pedal unless the buyer knows he wants to keep it. The returned pedals are
never "as new" again, and we do not want to sell "demo" quality pedals.
We cannot warranty the "tone" of the pedal. Specifications often change without notice. What's here today may not sound exactly like the one you heard yesterday!!

ordered. We do not want to ship an amplifier unless the buyer
knows he wants to keep it. The amps have a much greater chance of being damaged during shipment than any other product.

INTERNATIONAL SALES
Yes, we can ship
most guitars and amplifiers internationally!
International purchases must be made by
money orders, cashier's checks or bank wire transfers in $USD only.
We do not accept credit cards on international orders except for regular
repeat customers. We must add $20 to cover additional costs for
international wire transfers. Shipping costs vary from country to country and from city to city. Please provide us with your postal code for current shipping prices. Please understand that as the price of oil/jet fuel increases, so does the shipping costs. Our
shipping quotes are only valid for 48 hours! We ship guitars
internationally with UPS or FedEx only. We can use USPS for
smaller items that are not fragile. Expect freight costs for a
guitar to be $250 -$350 to the UK or Western EU. Please
consult with your local officials about taxes, duties, currency
exchange rates,etc. We do not know what these
additional costs will be...!!!
LAY-A-WAY
You can lay-a-way an instrument or amp (or anything else.)
This is convenient when you know you want an item but cant pay
for it in full at the moment. The maximum layaway period is 3
months. This requires a 30% non-refundable
deposit.
(The item stays with us until it is paid for in full.)
Shorter terms with smaller deposits are available, call the store
for complete details. Please note that if you place an item in
layaway
you give up your right to a 48 hour approval period. We cant
hold something for 3 months only to have a customer decide he/she
doesnt want it. Please do not start a layaway until you are
certain that you want
the item!
CONSIGNMENT ITEMS
Consignment items are items we are selling that are actually owned by one of
our customers. We don't carry very many consignments
but they will be clearly marked. Since we dont actually
own these items, we cant take any risks when we accept payment.
Consignment items sold by PHONE
must be purchased with money orders/cashiers checks only. No credit cards or checks please. This may not
apply to regular repeat customers.
Consignment items purchased IN
PERSON can be paid for with cash/money orders or credit
cards. No personal checks please.
We cannot take trades on any consigned items.
Trades
Guitar Rez is always interested in trading high quality guitars,
basses and amplifiers. Please call the shop at 512-478-0095 to
discuss the possibilities.
SOME GENERAL SHIPPING INFORMATION
We try to get your stuff to you fast! Your order usually
leaves here by the next day, often on the same day that you place
it. We ship via UPS although sometimes we prefer FEDEX for more
expensive acoustic guitars. We try to arrange shipping so that
guitars dont spend any time in warehouses. That may mean holding
a guitar here over a weekend to ship the following Monday.
We use factory packing whenever possible, except when factory
packing is crappy. Then we pack it better.
We are always happy to provide you with a tracking number for
your shipment.
